Monday 21st May, 0650hrs: Dave, Tim and James hold the Scouting 2007 flag on the summit of Everest.

After their successful summit bid on Monday, the Sky High team safely returned to Base Camp on Tuesday evening. They will start their return journey to Kathmandu on Friday. Their account of their final journey to the summit can be found here.

The Sky High project, orchestrated by Hampshire Scout Expeditions, aims to put a team of Scouts on the summit of Everest to celebrate the centenary of Scouting in 2007. After several years of training, the team finally departed for Nepal on 24th March 2007.
