BEETLE! “ came the cry. As children and adults alike relaxed and looked at their cards, the Leaders and Exec committee members took a deep breath and relaxed. It had worked. We had a total of 77 people turn up for our AGM and family fun afternoon. A shared tea provided by the parents filled groaning tables and the AGM had taken a brief 20 minutes with all but one post filled by volunteers who had been asked BEFORE the event, with many people wishing to stay in their roles for another year.
